Welcoming Ms. Jamie to the Jenna-G Music Family!

Ms. Jamie is joining us teaching voice, flute, piano, and bass! 

Lead Vocalist, Upright Bassist and songwriter for the internationally touring all-female independent Rock band Danger*Cakes, Jamie Bahr was born and raised in Kingston, New York but made Austin her home in 2009, carving her place into its world famous music community.  A true Renaissance woman, Jamie is the President of the Board of Directors for Girls Rock Austin, a non-profit music education and social justice organization dedicated to empowering girls and women of all backgrounds and abilities through music, mentorship and performance and has been a long-time volunteer for Kids In a New Groove, providing music instruction and mentorship to children in foster care. Jamie started the independent music and comics publisher, Sugar Skull Media in 2015, producing Danger*Cakes' albums and the zany horror adventure comic series, Halloween Man with her husband, writer and film-critic, Drew Edwards with whom Jamie also frequents as a cast members on the "Castle of Horror" Podcast.
